Is it "anti - semitic" to call Ari Melber a Black culture vulture?

I know, I know ... he's a fan ... he has friends ... and most importantly, he's probably a "real nice guy".

When Kamala Harris had a twerking, raunchy lyric rapper, twerking at her announcement ceremony to run for President of the United States of America, I knew she would not win. Who was the campaign trying to speak to?

Blacks?

Women?

Me?

Would Michelle Obama do that?

Harris’ stunt informed me, she was fundamentally unserious for whatever, she was trying to portray herself to be. For Ari Melber, though, it was an opportunity to show this twerking rapper do her schtick 3 times. With the, “Play it again, Sam, play it again”, vibe of a lecherous ______, oogling at a Black body he can digitally control (like a porno where Black male body performances are the stars of the genre). Ari Melber had the rare, televised opportunity to further dehumanize this woman, publicly to all his suburban fans. I could go all “Professional Managerial Class” (PMC) and “Virtue Hoarders”, but the author, Catherine Liu, does it beautifully. YouTube is media’s future, find and support her there. Besides Ari Melber’s shtick is older than PMC’s and those who hoard and delegate worthiness. It’s the managing and virtue hoarding of Master’s giving slaves the Slave Bible. Empty benevolent gestures to cloak serious desires to manipulate and control.

What news is shared on Ari’s show? It’s a delicate dance avoiding GAZA, genocide and white settler colonialism, but there’s concern about antisemitism and Israel. They dance around the failing Democratic party of which their failing station is the mouthpiece and propaganda funnel for. This station has been wrong about Russiagate, wrong about the Mueller Report, wrong about Cinton, wrong about Harris, wrong about the 34 felony counts mattering, wrong about the March for Our Lives movement (they didn’t think Hogg was going to come for them) wrong about the legitimacy of the Supreme Court, wrong about the impact of impeachments, wrong about the January 6th committee, wrong about Biden, wrong about geriatric “patriots” like Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Schumer and Pelosi, wrong about the Black AIPAC sellout group of Corey Booker, Hakiem Jefferies and Jasmine Croquette and wrong about the how the speak about Donald Trump, wrong about what the economy means to people, only speaking about investors and banks and thus (so very) wrong about Black America.

Ari Melber is Drake - like in his ability to mime cry, to have a mental rolodex of lyrics he can jam into any conversation, no matter, how off or superficially related (A point Ari disclosed a “friend” had critiqued him on, but Melber persists, that’s his whole show). One must admit Ari Melber’s unbearable performative allyship is at or around the core of why Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party and MSNBC are failing. wrong and failing. Ari Melber took up space and stood out from the crowd only by riding the … coat tails … of a culture that is not his and he does not understand, but profits specifically from invoking and not invoking other things. Maybe Jason Johnson is not available. Ari Melber is aware of his role as a "propagandist. He also is likely aware of the division between Black America and Jewish Americans occurred during the Black Power Movement and not wanting Jewish organizations monitoring and funding, supposed Black grassroots and not for profit programs, like the NAACP. The NAACP who took Brown v Board of Education, not as a call to improve the infrastructure and supplies of Black for schools, but to take Black children out of their Black communities and drop them off in places where they were attacked by hatful children and adults and still required to learn? People like Ari Melber, never want to reference the Civil Rights movement and desegregation that way? Never, that bashing of the Black child’s body and mind in the spirit of performing equality, is never mentioned. No.

Ari’s the “cool” other, other, who “gets” us and is “willing to” “showcase” “our voice” on his show, through him. Meanwhile, what has he or his network, the Democratic Party done other than showcase Blacks for their own profit? The problem with people like Ari Melber is he is purposely readjusting the political nature of Black culture to be okay with his cultural colonization and white washing of modern Black culture and history. A culture born out of rejecting and being rejected by the exact allies, who smile, love the music maybe even engage in sexual relations, but would hesitate to eat your food or go to your neighborhood and not be able to discuss reparations, hold any of these dark money funded puppets politicians accountable or honor your intellect without it feeling like a door prize. Why would they, they are all working for the Democratic party media propaganda wing of resistance, also known as maintaining the status quo. A status quo of edited feel-good news, by people who think viewers are too dumb for big words like, “Oligarchy”, media personalities, like Joy Ann Reid, who could not separate her feelings and her shtick from the facts about Harris’ vibe and “momentum”. MSNBC is convinced they are convincing us, the average person is running a small business, therefore invested in a “free market”. They want us all to believe the average worker is not clocking in as wage slave hourly staff. The station features boring scripted questions and brain drain pat answer soundbites strung together from focus groups, of Republicans and liars. The contrived rebelliousness that only serves the Democratic machine the only serves an even smaller number of big money groups. Ari Melber is the worst of them because he is subtly and overtly appealing to the white supremacist belief that Black people are not capable of shepherding our own art, culture, intellectual capability and need the status and respectability of whites to identify our culture as legitimate in the never ending white need for Black people to prove their humanity. So, they can steal it wrap themselves in it and in their morally bankrupt understanding of their own racism accuse Black people are engaging in “reverse racism”. Whites everywhere taking about their “hard knocks” but only to really emphasize, “We/I’ve had hard times and came out, sooo, What’s your excuse? None, because you’re lazy,” or whatever your preferred Black stereotype is. I bet MSNBC’s Sam Stein’s is, “too loud”. Ari Melber/MSNBC are the Trump-like culture monitors, not Black and unelected, stationed to warehouse, emphasize and give shape to where Blacks fit in their white vision of beneficial manager of the world. How many hundreds of years, must Black Americans be not fully human, not fully American? These fake allies, this fake news legacy media network (MSNBC) and this fake Democratic party seeks to control all radical cultures that threaten their anti-Black, anti - Labor/workers and anti-Democratic corporatist agenda. They always want to virtue signal us about immigrants, this is a group of people who don’t vote and therefore do not need all the coverage, but it makes people feel good and gives no empathetic correlation to chattel slavery, just the $1 dollar in pocket and a dream, immigrant myth, they have curated for themselves. Ari Melber exemplifies the destructive, self-serving shallowness of the white allyship and the Democratic Party, which is prolific in having multiple Democratic controlled opposition groups, like the Democratic Socialists of America and the Working Families Party to keep everyone under the tent and in the illusion they are doing anything but someone else’s bidding. Ari Melber and MSNBC’s greed mixed with their desperation for viewers to not trust their own feelings, their own eyes and their own pocketbooks, is just as bad as the Trump Show.

It is time to send a message to people like Ari Melber, MSNBC and the Democratic Party, by pulling our registration from the Democratic Party, begin taking on more independent and global news in our media diet. The re - election of Donald Trump can be seen by Black Americans as the final word to centuries of asking for equality. They don’t want to do it; because what they are depends on keeping us down, keeping us several degrees from what they have defined as humanity. How good the lies work. How long they can tell the same tired lies, excuses, creepy race fantasies. How many lies they can get us to believe about ourselves. How many lies can the convince others to believe about us. How much fake enthusiasm for fake candidates and fake media personalities can they stir up? I know I am not the only person tired of it. Ari Melber needs to go. MSNBC needs to go.

For the say her name, crowd: Megan the Stallion was last seen by me, in a paparazzi photo (insert eye roll giff, cuz it’s 2025). She was still wearing hair and makeup that makes her look like a Black version of a blow-up doll and had a red fishnet dress (completely see through), high slit on the side with only a red thong and a purse to strategically hide her nipples. She was going into a restaurant, where people were eating. She would be sitting in those chairs, ruining people’s date night with this image of horror, the danse sauvage that Josephine Baker played in and these Ari Melber’s, Drakes and Kardashians around the globe and thorough breeds, a dime for 3 dozen Stallions, can’t understand the one message in/of. I simply rebuke it and encourage you to do the same. This is about human dignity. I am paraphrasing Chris Hedges, of the Chris Hedges Report YouTube Channel and several awesome books “American Fascism”, is one; when I state, capitalism uses the body to assemble and produce products to sell, and when the body is not capable of assembling or producing, the body becomes the product to be sold. Think slavery, now prostitution. Sex work is not honest work; it does not grow a community it does not empower the individual or any culture in any positive way. That’s neoliberal capitalist propaganda.

Last Word: Why Lawerance O’Donnell can’t just give/build the people of Mali a desk factory or hand out mass student aid checks our pay the blanket costs of higher education? O’Donnell makes 30 million a year. Why are the kids getting desks one by one? What is this imperialist colonial nonsense, this idiotic and slave mind addled, WEB DuBois “talent tenth” premise of one special Black student amongst hundreds of poor students, is chosen to rise above and go to school. Chosen by who? Lawerence? Based on what? Standardized test scores? Is it based on the thank you letters he receives? Or the ones where the writer is begging? This is not altruistic. This is “showcasing” poverty as something to be fixed one at a time, with tax write offs, shared by a millionaire. This is neoliberal capitalist virtue signaling. Professionally managing the elites and the powerless on how slow and incremental change is. This is propaganda, as well.
